Our Team
Electrico has a large team, with a total of 13 employees. We believe in training and growing our own tradesmen and we currently have 6 apprentices at various stages of their apprenticeship. Our experienced tradesmen have a varied skillset which complements our diverse business. Working in a semi-rural environment, our team has the ability to provide services for the dairy sector and industrial markets, along with domestic and commercial installations. They are a friendly bunch who take pride in their work and always strive for customer satisfaction.
Our Story
Based in Matamata, and operating since 1997, Electrico was founded with the amalgamation of Arts Electrical and Romley Electrical and Electronics. We are a locally owned and managed company that is built up from over 35 years experience in the electrical industry In this time we have developed into a knowledgeable and diverse business offering a wide range of electrical expertise encompassing domestic, commercial, industrial and rural markets.
In April 2017 we amalgamated with Grant Smallwood Electrical from Morrinsville. This opportunity has enabled us to broaden our skill set, the geographical area covered and meet the ever-growing needs of our customers.
Electrico are proud to work alongside Silvester Electrical in Morrinsville. This allows us to call on a larger team of electricians and apprentices to cover any job big or small.
